{"id":14117,"date":"2018-08-29T20:11:32","date_gmt":"2018-08-30T00:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/2018\/08\/29\/reporting-to-international-labour-organization-ilo\/"},"modified":"2023-05-10T15:36:12","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T19:36:12","slug":"reporting-to-international-labour-organization-ilo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/2018\/08\/29\/reporting-to-international-labour-organization-ilo\/","title":{"rendered":"Reporting to International Labour Organization (ILO)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Reporting to International Labour Organization (ILO) on compliance with Convention 151 of ILO (labour working conditions in the public sector)<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Willemstad, 29 of August 2018 \u2013On the 22nd of August, the Government of Cura\u00e7ao sent, by means of a letter signed\u00a0 by the Prime Minister Mr. Eugene Rhuggenaath, an extensive report to the head quarters of International Labour Organization (ILO), located in Geneva,\u00a0 Switzerland, in which is reported the compliance by Cura\u00e7ao\u00a0 with the different conventions of ILO, which was ratified by Cura\u00e7ao, among which convention number 151 regarding working conditions in the public sector (\u2018Labour Relations (Public Service) Convention, 1978 (no151)<\/p>\n<p>The convention of ILO number 151 was ratified by Cura\u00e7ao in May 2016. For the preparation of the report, the Central Commission of Unions (CCvV), as a partner in the platform of CGOA and based on article 4, paragraph 1, of the ordinance \u2018Landsverordering GOA\u2019, gave a written contribution on behalf of the government, to the Minister of Social Development, Labour and Welfare (SOAW), to send forward to the head quarters of ILO as part of the final report, after the approval of the Minister\u2019s Council.<\/p>\n<p>In the report relating to the Convention 151, that finally was sent to the headquarter of the International labour Organization in Geneva, is stated that in general terms Cura\u00e7ao is complying with this convention based on among others the following considerations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>That since 2008 exists a legal framework, in the form of a national ordinance (\u2018Landsverordening GOA), that governs the social dialogue with the Government regarding subjects of general interest which concern legal position of government employees;<\/li>\n<li>That this dialogue takes place in an institutionalized platform in which Government, represented by the Minister of Governance, Planning and Public Service (PBD), with the representation of 5 union organizations that are considered as representatives (unified in CCvV) \u00a0on general themes<br \/>\nconcerning legal position of government employees;<\/li>\n<li>That between 2008 up to now different conventions has been agreed on and signed, particularly during 2014 and 2015, between parties on different themes related to among others the legal position of the government employees and\u00a0 the optimization of the functioning of the\u00a0 Government apparatus.<\/li>\n<li>That during 2017, the platform of CGOA met 13 times;<\/li>\n<li>That during 2017 CCvV met 28 times and<br \/>\nDuring that year 3 meetings of the institutions established by the parties,\u00a0 were held.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to International Labour Organization (ILO) on compliance with Convention 151 of ILO (labour working conditions in the public sector)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":111,"featured_media":14118,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"off","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","wds_primary_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[68,8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-14117","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-2018-en","category-uncategorized"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/14117","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/111"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=14117"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/14117\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/14118"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=14117"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=14117"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cgoacuracao.cw\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=14117"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
