Priority points according agreement at Acoya/Bramendi between Government and union representation of public employees
Willemstad, 17 of December 2019 – With the publication of the governmental decree of 15 November, consisting of general measures, which institute the sectoral consultation on specific matters regarding the legal position of public employees in a particular sector of the government, one of the priority points that parties in the CGOA (Centraal Georganiseerd Overleg in Ambtenarenzaken) was implemented, thus the government and the trade unions ABVO,STrAF, NAPB, SAP and Sitek, agreed upon during an informal meeting that took place on the 29th of October at Acoya (Bramendi)
During this meeting the parties agreed on a list of priorities that need to be addressed in the period of November 2019 through April 2020 to achieve a more efficient and effective functioning of the public administration and which must lead to reduction of personnel costs.
As the highest priority point, it was agreed to institutionalize as soon as possible a sectoral consultation. With the publication of the governmental decree P.B. 2019, no. 81, this became a reality. For the text of the decree click here
